Manage chaotic traffic of Valley: IGP Aryal to traffic police

Inspector General of Nepal Police (IGP) Prakash Aryal has ordered the authorities concerned to manage the chaotic traffic of Kathmandu Valley.

At a time when public complaints are rife regarding ineffective role of traffic police in the traffic management of the Valley, IGP Aryal called Metropolitan Police Traffic Division Chief Mingmar Lama, among other chiefs of the police entities at his chamber on Thursday and gave such instruction.

“We have been receiving increasing complaints regarding people’s difficulty for having to wait for long time during the jam in the Valley,” said Aryal, “In this context, I have ordered concerned stakeholders to manage the traffic.”

IGP Aryal also instructed all present chiefs to exhibit humble behavior while dealing with the passengers.
