US senators call on PM Dahal

During the meeting, PM Dahal and the senators discussed development projects being operated in Nepal, their indigenousness and effectiveness.
PM Dahal, who is also the Chairman of ruling CPN (Maoist Centre), thanked America for its role in the development projects of Nepal.
Informing that Nepal is moving ahead towards the path of development and prosperity by institutionalising political changes, the Prime Minister said that his government has been able to increase the economic growth rate of the nation.
Saying that the entire country is gearing up for the local level elections slated for May 14, PM Dahal said that the development projects in the country would move ahead after the formation of local government.
Claiming that the local level elections would be held on the announced date, the Prime Minister expressed his hope that the international community would help for the same.
On the occasion, the senators said that the achievements accomplished by the incumbent government were praiseworthy.
They further said that the concept of development projects of the current government was positive.
Saying that the America would help in the economic development of Nepal, the senators said that America wishes Nepal to hold the local polls on the announced date.
