Speaking at a press conference organised in Biratnagar of Morang on Monday, his party would take part in the elections if the government creates conducive environment for the same.
He further said they would file the party’s name in the Election Commission soon.
Saying that the second phase of elections announced by the government has no meaning, Thakur said that the elections and elections programmes could not be held until the constitution was amended.
RJP Chair clarified that his party has decided to roll back all the protest programmes as the government has committed to implement the past agreements.
