A meeting of the alliance held at New Baneshwor, Kathmadu, on Thursday has also decided to add more amendment in the bill.
According to opposition leader and Bahujan Shakti Party Chairman Biswendra Paswan, the opposition parties have decided to table amendment proposal jointly and separately.
The opposition parties have more than one third lawmakers in the Parliament.
If the opposition parties kept the alliance intact, then the government would not be able to muster a two-thirds majority required to pass the amendment bill.
The government, however, had claimed that the amendment bill would be passed sans the CPN-UML.
During the meeting, the opposition alliance claimed that the amendment bill tabled in the Parliament by the government was against the interests of nation.
The government had tabled the amendment bill to bring the agitating Samyukta Gathabandan on board the local level elections.
The opposition parties have been opposing the amendment bill arguing that the motion was introduced so as to disintegrate the nation.
