Bhingri-Sworgadwari road section to be blacktopped

The Bhingri-Sworgadwari road section that links the popular pilgrimage site of Sworgadwari is all set to be blacktopped.

Devisthan Road Division Office Chief Suresh Neupane informed that the office is planning to blacktop the road section within three years. He informed that the cost to complete the project is estimated to about Rs 2.5 billion.

Neupane informed that Rs13 million of the budget has been allocated for the construction till now and the remaining works of the previous year’s tender is underway adding that workers have been constructing walls and cutting the corners along the road way.

Locals in the area are excited as a blacktopped road to Sworgadwari would ease the journey of the locals as well as the pilgrims.

Travelling on the Bhingri-Sworgadwari road section has been a risky affair as vehicles have met with accidents causing many deaths in recent years.
