Taiwanese hiker found after 7 weeks marks his 22nd birthday

Minister of State for Tourism and Civil Aviation Parshuram Tamang was also present during the birthday celebration of Liang at Grande Hospital, Dhapasi, Kathmandu. He has been admitted to the hospital right after he was rescued and airlifted to Capital.
The hospital administration made an arrangement for a birthday cake after Liang remembered April 28 as his birthday and expressed desire to celebrate.
Liang was found on Wednesday at a canyon in Tyangribhir on the way to Langtang from Rubivalley and airlifted by a helicopter. But his girlfriend Liu Chen-chun, 18, had died just three days before they were discovered, he said. Liang his girlfriend had been missing since March 9.
