PM Dahal urges UML Chair Oli to move ahead with consensus
A day after the two main ruling parties registered an impeachment motion against Chief Justice Sushila Karki, Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal held a meeting with the main opposition CPN-UML Chairman KP Sharma Oli on Monday.
A day after the two main ruling parties registered an impeachment motion against Chief Justice Sushila Karki, Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal held a meeting with the main opposition CPN-UML Chairman KP Sharma Oli on Monday.
During the meeting held at the chamber of Speaker Onsari Gharti Magar this morning, the duo discussed contemporary political issues.
On the occasion, PM Dahal, who is also the Chairman of CPN (Maoist Centre), urged Oli to move ahead with consensus on the issues of revised constitution amendment bill, impeachment motion registered at the Parliament, local level elections and budget.
Saying that the local level polls slated for May 14 would not be halted under any circumstances, PM Dahal said that all the parties should joined hands together for the successful conclusion of the elections.
