The ruling party on Sunday had called an emergency meeting of the committee to decide its future course aftermath of Nepali Congress and CPN (Maoist Centre) decision to register impeachment motion against Chief Justice Sushila Karki.
The fourth largest party has taken serious objection to the move of the two ruling parties and termed it unfortunate. According to Bhuban Pathak spokesperson of the Party the meeting will commence in the evening which will most probably take a decision. The senior leaders say the party is unlikely to withdraw the government support immediately fearing that could create adverse environment for the election.
“The party will issue ultimatum to withdraw the impeachment motion. If NC and Maoist refuse to do so then the party will go for leaving government,” the leader told the Post.
