The popularity of such beauty pageants in Dharan has been escalating rapidly in recent times. Besides the recent graduates of SEE, these pageants seem to garner attention from their parents too, encouraging more teens to pursue modelling and fashion.
The pageant witnessed participation of 33 girls from Terhathum, Dhankuta, Morang and Sunsari. The pageant was judged by an adjudication panel comprising Miss Nepal 2014 Subin Limbu, Kwality Food Private Limited’s Managing Director Shyam Kabra, BP Koirala Academy’s Dr Prof Pashupati Choudhary, and Dr Prof Bhim Khati. The finale saw performances by regional celebrities such as John Rai, Sabela Rai, Arjun Ghimire and the members of Garima Dance Centre.
