Claiming that the Bill was tabled in the Parliament by excluding important points of Mathema committee report, Dr KC said that the Bill should be passed by making it people and student oriented.
He said that the Bill will be pro-leaders and pro-mafia if approved without any changes.
“Conspiracies are being hatched to approve the Bill without any modifications,” he claimed. He further said that only a certain section of people will be benefitted if the Bill is endorsed in the Parliament as it is.
Moreover, Dr KC further said the government has not yet implemented the past agreements signed with him.
Saying that the provision to stop granting affiliation to more than five medical colleges by a university has totally been removed from the proposed Bill, he said that this provision should be included in the Bill.
He went on to say that the university should operate a hospital on its premises for three years to grant affiliation to medical colleges. The same thing should also be included in the Bill.
Dr KC had staged several rounds of hunger strike in the past seeking reforms in the medical sector.
