Police on Sunday arrested four persons including Janakpur Zonal Bureau Chief of the Nepal Communist Party from Bardibas in Mahottari district for possession of paraphernalia used in making Improvised Explosive Devices (IEDs).

Superintendent of Police, Raj Kumar Lamsal said that a patrol team of Area Police Office, Bardibas, arrested Janakpur zonal Chief Sandesh Poudel, and Mithila Chauhan, among others, along with different equipments for making bombs.

Police also seized a watch to make time bomb, six detonators, map of Mahottari district, three pieces of pamphlets reading scrap the local level elections and two hundreds stickers of Nepali Congress.

The District Police Office would inform about the arrest by organising a press conference today, it is learnt. RSS
