Chand-led CPN supporters arrested with explosives

Police on Sunday made public Mohammad Adan of Dhanusha Municiplaity-5, Pran Kumar Lama of Dhanushadham Municiplaity-8 and Mithila Chauhan of Dhanushadham Municiplaity-8 with various equipment used in making bombs.
Police seized explosives, including two sets of watch, six detonators and manuals. Superintendent of Police Raj Kumar Lamsal said they had also found Aluminium Phosphate, an insecticide, with the suspects.
SP Lamsal added that the accused had planned to detonate bombs in 18 government offices to obstruct the local polls.
Acting on a tip-off, police raided the house of Gyan Prasad Paudel in Gauridanda, Bardibas Municipality-3 where they had been statying on rent.
4 held for torching a jeep
KAVRE: Police held four supporters of the Chand-led Communist Party of Nepal on charge of conducting anti-poll activities.
Shankar Prasad Nepal and Bhola Prasad Nepal of Mandandeupur-10, Kanchha Lama of Dhulikhel-11 and Ramesh Pariyar of Khanikhola-9 were charged with public offence.
