The Election Commission has deployed Election Officers to various villages in view of the upcoming local level elections slated for May 14.
Teams of Election Officers along with security personnel have started arriving at various polling centres in Lamjung from the District Election Office with their appointment letter, ballot papers and boxes among other 64 items needed for elections.
The Election Officers deployed at remote areas have left early Wednesday morning.
According to the Chief Election Office, over 900 election officials have been deployed in the district to 155 polling stations.
Likewise, Lamjung District Chief Election Officer said that all necessary preparation including security measures has been done to hold the local polls in free and fair manner.
