A man died when a tractor hit a motorbike he was riding on at Khadka Municipality-7 of the Saptari district on Thursday.

The deceased has been identified as Jagannath Chaudhary, 24, of Dagneshwori Municipality-10 of the district.

Police said that the tractor (Sa 1 Ta 2084) hit the motorbike (Sa 7 Pa 7900) this morning.

Critically injured in the incident, Chaudhary breathed his last during the course of treatment at a hospital.

Police said that they have impounded the four-wheeler and arrested its driver for investigation.

Meanwhile, three persons were injured in a motorbike accident at Surunga Municipality-1 of the district today.

The injured have been identified as Sulendra Ram, Surendra Ram and Chandra Jit Ram of Surunga Municipality.

All of them were riding on a single bike when the accident took place.
