Twenty four Nepali girls were rescued from a House in Delhi on Tuesday evening. A joint team of Nepal Embassy in New Delhi and Crime Branch of Delhi police rescued from Uttam Bihar of New Delhi.
According to Om Joshi, a counselor at Nepal Embassy in New Delhi, a broker took them to New Delhi offering them job in the Middle-eastern countries. They were kept in a private house in Uttam Nagar phase-4 since a month by broker.
"They are currently staying in Embassy. We will interrogate them to find the details," said Joshi. The age of rescued girl ranges from 15 to 40 years. In the recent months, many girls are being cheated in New Delhi by brokers luring them to offer study or employment visa for third countries. Nepal Embassy in New Delhi has tightened the visit visa to fly to third countries.
