Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal has said that he feels victorious regardless of whoever wins the local level election held in three provinces on May 14.
“I feel I have accomplished a big responsibility by conducting the elections successfully with huge participation of people,” said Dahal, “I have quit watching television for I am not interested in who wins or loses.” “Whoever wins, the victory is mine,” the PM said.
Saying that the successful completion of first phase of local polls is his accomplishment, the PM called on the Madhes-based parties to participate in the second phase of the elections with enthusiasm.
“There are a lot of challenges in conducting the second phase elections,” said PM Dahal, “I have called an all-party meeting including Madhes-centric parties to discuss the successful conduction of second phase polls.”
PM Dahal was in his home district Chitwan to inaugurate the central office of Agriculture and Forestry University in Rampur on Friday.
PM Dahal, along with his son Prakash Dahal, visited Sashwotdham in Nawalparasi before arriving Chitwan.
Dahal, who seemed sentimental during the programme, hinted that he would soon resign from the Prime Minister’s post.
