Batting first, Tip Top amassed a massive 88-1 in seven overs on a back of 14-ball 40 from Amol Sharma. Warriors, in reply, were restricted to 73-5 after Ashu Kandoi starred with 3-23 from his two-over spell.
Amit verma top scored with a 17-ball 28 for Warriors hitting two eights. The seven-over tournament played under a shortened boundary live gives eight runs for every hit over the rope. Tushar Agrawal also scored 23 off 16 with two boundaries and an eight.
Earlier, Sharma struck two eights and three fours in his 14-ball whirlwin knock lifting his side close to triple figures. Yogesh Sawarthiya chipped in an unbeaten six-ball 26 with four hits to the fence. Agrawla took the only Tip Top wicket to fall.
Earlier in the semi-finals, also played on Saturday, Warriors edged Kocher Rangers by four runs and Tip Top overwhelmed Riders by 14 runs. Batting first, Tip Top piled up a mammoth 97-2 from seven overs after Kandoi smashed 38 off 17 and Sharma clobbered 16-ball 35 in their unbeaten innings.
For Riders, Vicky Singal took 2-18. Riders were restricted to 83-4 in seven overs with Sumit Kadmiya hitting 21-ball 34. Kandoi produced an all round display taking 3-24.
In the second semi-final, Warriors were squeezed out for just 61-5 but they did extremely well with the ball restricting Rangers to 57-4. Hitesh Dalmiya made a 20-ball 22 for Rangers. Earlier, Agrawal was also the leading scorer in the semi-final for Warriors smashing a 12-ball 27. Rahul Goyal took 2-9 for Rangers.
Vicky Singel of Riders and Sharma of Tip Top were adjudged the best bowler and batsman respectively, while Kandoi walked away with the player-of-the-tournament honour.
