A mother has been hospitalised after her two-year-old son went missing since April 22 from Pokhara.  

Mohammad Gaffar and Mariam Khatun lost their child Sovayal Gaffar from their rented apartment in Kalikachok. Khatun has been worried to death after the family remained clueless on whereabouts of the missing child even after a month since his disappearance.

 “I have admitted Mariam to a hospital as she got extremely sick due to the shock,” said Mohammad. “We have looked for him everywhere and police are also searching for the child.”

According to Gaffar, it was drizzling on the day their child went missing. Two unknown people had come to their apartment and asked for water. Since then, they have not found their son, claimed Gaffar.

Sovayal is the sixth son of Gaffar who works as scrap collector in Pokhara to earn his living.
