The agitating RJP-N has called for a four-day general strike starting from Tuesday saying that the government failed to deliver on its demands including constitution amendment.
As an effect of the strike educational institution, local business, long and short distance transport services have come to a complete halt.
Likewise, RJP-N leaders and cadres have taken out rallies from early morning to make the banda successful.
Meanwhile, RJP-N top brass leader Parmeshwor Sah, in a press release issued on Monday, said that they will let vehicles belonging to press, dairy, foreign missions and ambulances to ply on the road during the strike. The press statement further committed on not disrupting the Grade 11 final examinations set to commence from June 15.
