In a statement on Thursday, the constitutional rights body said that the election commissioners have already been deployed in 35 district of Province 1, 5 and 7 to ensure human welfare and human rights.
The NHRC will monitor whether children are used in the election campaign and parties are violating the election code of conduct or not, among other things, the statement read.
Similarly, the deployed NHRC teams will also monitor the nomination process for the second phase of local polls.
The rights watch dog said that cases of clashes and bomb explosion have been reported in Bajura, Nawalparasi, Banke, Sunsari, Kapilvastu and Khotang among other districts.
A person died and several others were injured in the clashes during the nomination day in various districts of the country.
The NHRC urged the government to carry out fair investigation into the incidents and book the culprits as soon as possible, read the statement.
It also urged the government to create conducive environment to conduct polls in a free and fair manner.
