He was addressing an election assembly in Dhangadhi on Friday.
Saying that the local polls were interlinked with the constitution implementation, Deuba, who is also the President of NC, said that the party’s victory was necessary for the same.
Claiming that the party had led crucial movements time and again in the past for the change in country, he urged the people to trust the party and vote once again in the local level elections.
The Prime Minister said that the Province 7 covering nine districts in the Far-Western Region was relatively behind in terms of development and the development of the province was the concern of his party. Deuba himself is from the Province 7.
Arguing that the upcoming elections are important to elect people's representatives for the local units in order to launch development works through them, PM Deuba pledged to implement Chameliya Hydro Electricity Project and Paschim Seti Hydro Electricity Project in Province 7 and increase the allowance for senior citizens twice fold if the NC wins elections.
