Nepali Congress takes lead in Bajura

Among the four local units where early voting results were made public, Nepali Congress is leading in three local units while CPN-UML is taking lead in one local unit.
Padam Baduwal of Nepali Congress is leading in Badimalika Municipality with 916 votes. CPN-UML’s Gagan Rawal has accumulated 890 votes while Man Bahadur BK of CPN (Maoist Centre) has garnered 20 votes so far.
Likewise, NC’s Padam Kumar Giri is leading the vote counting in Budinanda Municipality. Giri has garnered 413 votes while Janak Kumar Giri of CPN-UML has 338 votes.
Similarly, Dev Bahadur Rokaya of Nepali Congress is taking lead in the Gaumul Village Council with 283 votes while Hari Rokaya of CPN-UML has won 279 votes so far.
CPN-UML is taking lead in the Chededaha Village Council. Lal Bahadur Oli has 657 votes while NC’s Nara Bahadur Rawat has 505 votes.
Voting counting in Budiganga Municipaliy and Himali Village Council has not started till 1 pm.
Preparations are underway to shift ballot boxes in Himali Village Council while CPN-UML has demanding re-polling in Budiganga Municipality.
