NOC slashes fuel prices

The NOC has decided to reduce Rs 2 per litre in petrol, diesel and kerosene and Rs 4 in aviation turbine fuel (ATF).
Likewise, the state-owned oil monopoly has reduced Rs 25 in the liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) per cylinder.
According to the new revised rate, the price of petrol will be Rs 98 per litre. Earlier, the price of petrol was Rs 100.
Similarly, the price of kerosene and diesel will be Rs 74 per litre each.
Likewise, a cylinder of cooking gas will be sold at Rs 1375.
A litre of ATF for internal flights will costs Rs 84 and international flights for Rs 73.
The revised fuel price will come into effect from today midnight.
NOC spokesperson Sitaram Pokharel said that the price has been adjusted as per the price list forwarded by the Indian Oil Corporation.
