Lawmakers vent ire over unequal distribution of budget

Taking part in the deliberations on various topics incorporated in the Appropriation Bill-2017 in the Legislature-Parliament meeting on Thursday, lawmakers said that a large amount of budget has been distributed in the home districts of senior leaders of various political parties which have exposed unequal distribution of budget.
Though remarkable budget has been distributed in the districts of top leaders, the government has not paid attention towards the districts of lawmakers and general leaders, lawmakers during the meeting said.
Albeit, the government has been working towards the development of roads and infrastructure in the country, lawmakers have expressed their grievances over bumpy roads in the Capital and the condition of Narayangadh-Muglin road.
Lawmaker Dhaniram Paudel said that though the government has been making plans to develop the infrastructure, the plans have not been implemented yet.
