Talking to mediapersons in Janakpur on Friday, PM Deuba, who is also the President of ruling Nepali Congress, said that favourable environment has already been created for the RJP-N to participate in the local polls as the party’s demands have been gradually addressed.
In response to a question, PM Deuba said that his party was all set to have the constitution amendment bill passed from the Parliament.
He, however, said CPN-UML and Rastriya Prajatantra Party (RPP) were obstructing his party’s move to endorse the amendment bill.
The Prime Minister urged the Janakpur denizens to extend cooperation in the construction of road and drainage that is being undertaken in their city under the Asian Development Bank project.
PM Deuba also stated that his party was willing to enter into electoral alliances with the CPN (Maoist Centre) and other interested parties in the third phase of local polls. RSS
