The commission seized the documents from examination division and education division.
Gauri Bahadur Karki, Chairman of the Commission and former Supreme Court Justice, Surya Prasad, General Secretary at Ministry of Education, reached the institute to confiscate the documents today.
It has been learnt that the commission seized the documents of 2012 following complaints that accused financial irregularities in MD/MS examination, leakage of question paper and failing of students in Medical Council’s examinations despite being passed from the institution.
The then vice-chancellor of the institution Balbhadra Prasad Das and dean Nirmal Baral had resigned from their posts following widespread criticism regarding question paper leakage and financial irregularities.
However, the resignation of Vice-chancellor Das was not accepted.
