Education.com, an educational institute, with support from Islington College, has been organising the fair since 2015. Students seeking to pursue bachelor’s and master’s degrees are the main beneficiaries of the two-day event to be organised at Hotel Annapurna, Durbarmarg.
Jeevan Lama Gole, manager at Education.com, said the aim of the event is to promote domestic academic institutions as competent schools to provide top quality education and to prepare students to compete globally.
Forty colleges affiliated to different domestic universities and having affiliations from foreign universities will join the show.
According to organisers, students visiting the fair will get to know about a wide range of higher education options available in the country along with scholarship options. Ten mobile phones, 100 movie tickets and a laptop will be provided as door prizes to participants through a lucky draw while one visitor will get a scooter in the bumper prize.
Scholarship fair
The Aryan Group of Colleges, India is organising a scholarship fair for Nepali students on Friday.
As many as 100 students will be provided with counselling, scholarships, education loan and admissions on the spot, the organisers said.
It will also provide 50 percent scholarship to deserving students and ensure 50 percent loan for technical courses at Aryans.
The fair will be held at Abroad Edu Consultancy in the Capital. (PR)
