KMG sets up relief fund for flood, landslide victims
Kantipur Foundation, a philanthropic initiative of Kantipur Media Group, has established “Kantipur Flood-Landslide Relief Fund” to provide relief to the flood-landslide hit families in various parts of the country including Tarai immediately.

Kantipur Foundation, which coordinated the fund, deposited Rs 1.1 million as the seed money. Nepal Investment Bank, Siddhartha Bank, NIC Asia Bank and Nepal Medicity Hospital are associated with the fund as partners and they have also deposited Rs 1.1 million each for the cause.
The names of the individuals and organisations that donated more than Rs 1,000 will be published/broadcast on the various media outlets of the Kantipur Media Group, the Kantipur, The Kathmandu Post dailies, ekantipur, Kantipur Television and Radio Kantipur.
The pictures of those donating Rs 500,000 or more than Rs 500,000 will be published in the Kantipur and The Kathmandu Post dailies.
The collected money will be distributed in the worst flood affected areas from the concerned District Natural Disaster Rescue Committee.
