And if the previous episode set the ball rolling with ‘money tasks’ and dramatic vote-outs, the intrigue continued to deepen as clear divisions are now beginning to emerge between the contestants.
By normal game show standards, the number of contestants on Himalaya Roadies has been dwindling thick and fast over the past couple episodes—a show that started out with 17 aspiring roadies has whittled down to just 12. During this episode of the show, those 12 contestants were put through the most gruelling task yet, where they were split into two groups of six and competed in a fast-paced capture the flag to win immunity from this episode’s vote out.
In the end—with backstabbing and horse-trading that has become characteristic of the show—Riya Swar became the sixth contestant to get the boot. Only 11 contestants now remain vying for the chance to become the first ever Himalaya Roadie.
Himalaya Roadies is the Nepali edition of the popular Indian reality TV show MTV Roadies. Licensed for Nepal by Via Com 18, the show will run the length of 18 episodes.
