The book which covers a range of issues from immigrants struggling in a foreign land to love for the home nation was also reviewed at the event by litterateur Kedar Pokharel.
“The poetry included in the anthology touch upon issues that any Nepali residing overseas can relate to. And its poets like Sharma who play a very important role in preserving and promoting Nepali literature among the Nepali Diaspora worldwide,” Pokharel said.
Speaking at the event, Ambassador Sherpa said, “I am very happy to see that there are poets like Sharma who are encouraging people to return back to their homeland and bring changes.” She further added, “His poems will help Nepali living abroad realise their duty towards their nation and become inspired to go back.”
The event also featured a book signing session after the launch.
