A standing committee meeting of the party held at Dhumbarahi in the Capital on Sunday decided to depute all its power for the third phase of local level elections slated for September 18 and provincial and federal parliamentary elections slated for November 26, party secretary Pradeep Gyawali informed.
According to Gyawali, the party will zeroed in on third phase of local level polls scheduled to be held in province 2 on September 18.
As the Election Commission has issued the date of August 27 to register the party with the election body for the provincial and federal parliamentary elections, the party has decided to register the party within the set time frame.
The meeting has assigned Vice-chairman Bam Dev Gautam with the task of registering the party with the Election Commission, Gyawali informed.
The party is likely to register itself with the election body on August 25.
The party also appealed all the parties including the Rastriya Janata Party-Nepal to strengthen the democracy by taking part in the elections.
