Visiting PM Deuba attends ceremonial reception, meets Indian EAM Swaraj (In photos)

Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba, who is on a five-day state visit to India, attended the ceremonial reception organised in his honour and received a 'Guard of Honour' at the Rastrapati Bhawan in New Delhi.
Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi had received PM Deuba with special ceremonial welcome at the Rastrapati Bhawan.
In his brief comment on the occasion, the visiting prime minister said the Nepal-India relations are special and historical.
Following the reception, the visiting Nepali side and Indian government representatives are holding delegation-level talks at Hyaderabad House.
Earlier today, Deuba held a meeting with Indian External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj and discussed issues of bilateral importance.
According to Deputy Prime Minister Mahara, issues of forming a high-level mechanism to seek long-term solution to the problems of floods and inundation on both sides of the border and expediting the Pancheshwor Multipurpose Project. It has been learnt that the expediting the 5600 MW Pancheshwar mega project located on the Mahakali River in the Far-west was one of the key agenda of his visit.
Earlier in the day, PM Deuba visit Mahatma Gandhi memorial at Raj Ghat and paid homage to the legend of non-violence.
“I paid homage to Mahatma Gandhi at Raj Ghat. His enduring legacy of non-violence is indeed a rare gift to not just India, but the world,” PMO Nepal tweeted.
Deuba left for New Delhi on Wednesday, leading a 59-member delegation, at the invitation of his Indian counterpart Narendra Modi.
