Kalimaya Karki, 55, of Musangkhel, Laligurans Municipality-3, and Krishnamaya Subedi, 40, of Phulek, Lalgurans Municipality-4 in the district, died of the viral fever.
According to ward Chairman of Laligurans Municipality-4 Prem Gautam, the viral fever has spread in the area a week ago.
Most of the people in Musangkhel and Phulek of Laligurans Municipality-3 and 4 are suffering from the viral fever.
Though the District Health Office and Primary Health Centre have been informed about the outbreak of viral fever, health workers have not reached the villages yet, Gautam informed.
With the onset of summer, number of people suffering from viral fever has gone up in the district, it has been learnt.
Health centres in the district have been flooded with patients suffering from viral fever.
According to Dr Muktinath Shah of the District Hospital, outbreak of viral fever has affected life in the district.
Fever, joint pains and vomiting are common symptoms of the disease.
Health workers have not been able to reach the affected areas as the District Hospital has run out of medicines, Dr Shah said.
Over 145 patients are being treated at the emergency ward of the District Hospital every day, the hospital informed.
Locals said that most of the patients are suffering from typhoid and Pneumonia after the viral fever.
Dr Shah informed that a team of health workers along with a machine used to test the blood with reach the affected areas by Saturday.
