NADA Auto Show 2017 kicks off in Capital

The biggest automobile extravaganza NADA Auto Show 2017 kicked off at Bhrikutimandap in Kathmandu on Tuesday.

 The 12th edition of the show is jointly organised by Nepal Automobiles Association of Nepal and Global Exposition and Management Services Pvt Ltd.

Minister for Physical Infrastructure and Transport Bir Bahadur Balayar inaugurated the event.

Saying that automobile sector has played an instrumental role for the development of infrastructure in the country, he said that the government is serious about the importance of automobile.

Minister Balayar said that entrepreneurs should not always think about themselves, but also about the development of the country.

He stressed on the need for electric vehicles rather than petroleum-powered vehicles.

Moreover, he claimed that the government has been trying to resolve the problems seen in the transportation sector.

He said that smart licence will be distributed in all the seven provinces by installing printer for the development of the transportation sector.
