The third edition of the Kirtipur Dashain Mahotsav is slated to start this Wednesday, the organisers announced over the weekend. The two-week long festival will take place at the Kirtipur Footbal Ground. 

The festival will feature a host of cultural performances, food stalls and games—in a total of 140 stalls. 

Binod Singh of Rais Music, the organisers, said that every ward of Kirtipur Municipality’s 10 wards will be alloted one stall each at the fest, where they will showcase various facets of the Kirtipuri culture. 

The highlight of the fest, organisers said, will be the showcasing of traditional folk customs celebrated in Kirtipur. 

Likewise, the fest will also feature a food festival and live music concerts. 

The fest will run through September 27.
