Nepal completed 51-run target in 8.3 overs with the loss of single wicket. Asif Sheikh remained not out on 23 while Sandip Sunar contributed 21.
Winning the toss and batting first, Bhutan's batting order collapsed in front of Nepali bowling attack. Skipper Dipendra Singh Airee took 5 wickets and Sandip Lamichhane continued his superb bowling figures with four wickets. Nandan Yadav claimed the remaining wicket for Nepal.
Only two Bhutanese batsmen could reach double-digit score.
Tournament favorites Nepal has also reached the semi-final of the competition.
The winners of the tournament will qualify for November’s ACC U-19 Asia Cup which will also be hosted by Malaysia.
Nepal will take Singapore in their last league match on Thursday. Singapore currently lead the Group ‘A’ table with four points after beating Thailand by 67 runs for their second consecutive victory. Hong Kong and Malaysia have won both their first two Group ‘B’ matches and the former lead the table on better net run-rate.
