Palestine came from behind to score twice to deny Nepal qualification to the finals as Mohammed Hridat scored both goals in the 28th and 75th minute.
For Nepal, Brijesh Chaudhary broke the deadlock after the Palestinian team conceded a penalty in the 10th minute of the first half.
Earlier today, India and Iraq had played a draw which had given hope for Nepal as the hosts eyed an unlikely qualification. However, losing the match put Nepal on the bottom of the group table with one point and out of the finals along with today's rivals.
Iraq topped the group with 7 points followed by India who secured 5 points.
Meanwhile, India have a strong chance to play in the finals as the five best runners-up from 10 groups will also go through.
