PM Deuba reaches Oman

He reached Muscat from the United Arab Emirates on Monday, according to officials accompanying PM Deuba. During his stay in the oil-rich nation, PM Deuba is scheduled to visit historic sites besides holding some high-level meetings with Omani officials.
He will also interact with Nepali ambassadors based in Gulf nations and discuss way to find lasting solution to the plight Nepali migrant workers usually face, according to an official.
PM Deuba is accompanied by DPM and Foreign Minister Krishna Bahadur Mahara, Minister for Labour and Employment Farmullah Mansoor, Minister for Women, Children and Social Welfare Aasha Koirala and Nepali Ambassador to Oman Sharmila Parajuli.
Foreign secretary and foreign minister’s adviser, among other high ranking officials, are also in the prime minister’s delegation.
PM Deuba, who left for New York on September 19, addressed the UNGA on September 23.
He also interacted with students of Columbia University in New York.
PM Deuba will return home on Thursday.
