Speaking at a press conference organised by Press Chautari in Bharatpur Airport on Tuesday, leader Nepal said there was a high possibility of his party forging an alliance with the CPN (Maoist Centre).
“If the Maoist Centre is ready then we are ready to forge electoral alliance with the party,” said leader Nepal, adding, “We will not not object if the Maoist Centre forges alliance with the Nepali Congress, but if the Maoist Centre wants to form an alliance with us then we are ready.”
Former Prime Minister Nepal further said that he is likely to contest the upcoming elections from Kathmandu or Rautahat. He said that the decision has not been made yet.
The first phase of federal and provincial elections is scheduled for November 26. The second round will be held on December 7.
