Representatives of the constituent parties were present in a meeting of the taskforce formed to pick candidates and constituencies held on Thursday.
The task force was formed by the party unit coordination committee under the headship of UML General Secretary Ishwor Pokharel.
A meeting of the manifesto preparation committee formed under the leadership of UML Vice-Chairman Bamdev Gautam was also held today.
“All the parties have started to table their respective details. Now, we will seriously study the details,” Pokharel said.
The meeting has decided to divide the constituencies within three days and prepare the manifesto within seven days.
On the occasion, UML Chairman KP Sharma Oli and Maoist Centre Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal directed both the committees to complete their task within the given timeframe.
The UML and Maoist Centre have agreed to share the seats in a 60:40 ratio after allocating seats to other parties that would join the alliance.
