The prime minister of Pakistan had conveyed his sympathies to the flood affected and pledged assistance in his meeting with the prime minister of Nepal in New York on the sidelines of the UN General Assembly, the Pakistani Embassy said in a statement on Thursday.
Earlier, the Pakistani Foreign Minister had conveyed his condolences to DPM and Foreign Minister Krishna Bahadur Mahara. “The governments and peoples of Nepal and Pakistan enjoy close and friendly relations and have always stood together and cooperated with each other in hours of difficulty,” the statement reads.
