Earlier, today, the Election Commission (EC) has summoned top leaders of the political parties to discuss the preparations for the upcoming federal and provincial elections slated for November 26 and December 7.
The meeting that took place at the EC office held discussions on the election preparations, compliance of election code of conduct, voters’ education, mutual agreement and dialogue between the political parties.
PM Deuba also President of the Nepali Congress,CPN (Maoist Centre) Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal, CPN-UML Chairman KP Sharma Oli, Sanghiay Samajbadi Forum Nepal Chairman Upendra Yadav, among other leaders signed the commitment letter.
Meanwhile, responding to the queries of mediapersons after the meet, PM Deuba reassured that the upcoming polls will be held at any cost.
