Kathmandu
CPN (Maoist Centre), a coalition partner in the incumbent Nepali Congress-led government that had joined the leftist alliance led by main opposition CPN-UML, has decided to quit the government on Tuesday.
Home Minister Janardan Sharma is scheduled to address a press meet at 2pm today to announce the party’s decision.
Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba during the final parliament meet on October 14 had hinted towards removal of CPN (MC) ministers from the government.
Earlier, CPN (MC), despite being a part of leftist alliance, had stated it would continue its support to the government.
