Sanghiya Samajbadi Forum Nepal (SSFN) and Rastriya Janata Party (RJP) on Tuesday reached an agreement to share electoral seats in province-2.
A meeting of the top leaders of SSFN and RJP forged an electoral alliance to share electoral seats in eight districts of Tarai from Parsa to Saptari for the second phase of parliamentary and provincial elections to be held on December 7.
According to the agreement, of the 32 parliamentary constituencies in province-2, SSFN will have 17 seats and RJP will have 15 seats.
Similarly, of the 64 provincial constituencies, SSFN will get 33 seats and RJP will have 31 seats for the provincial election.
Nominations for the second phase of elections will start from Thursday.
