At an assembly organised by Nepali Congress (NC) federal parliament constituency-1 in Panauti, CPN (Maoist Centre) deputy chairman Rajesh Karki and All Nepal National Independent Students Union-Revolutionary (ANNISU-R) municipality chairman Shshil Suwal, among other dozens, have joined the NC.
Incumbent NC district president Shiva Prasad Humagain, NC federal parliament constituency-1 candidate Tirtha Lama, province assembly constituency-1 (A) candidate Chandra Bahadur Tamang, and province assembly constituency-1 (B) candidate Ganesh Lama welcomed the new entrants in the party.
After joining the party, Giri said they chose democracy in the battle between democratic force and those trying to impose communism.
