The mock election was conducted at an election centre in Chakrapani Chowk of Katunje in Suryabinayak Municipality-5.
The mock election was conducted to create awareness among the voters regarding ballot paper, casting of vote and dropping ballot paper on the box, said Bhaktapur Election Office Chief Umesh Rai.
The mock election included trainings on entering the premises of election centre, queuing up in line, taking the ballot paper, casting mark on favoured candidate AND putting ink on finger, among others, according to Rai.
Separate ballot papers of various colours will be used for first-past-the-post and proportional representation system of federal parliamentary and provincial assembly elections.
