Organised by #MakerKT—an initiative that conducts regular DIY (do it yourself) workshops with women to get them to use more tools as they become independent, the series will feature workshops ranging from kick-starting a business and acing marketing in digital media to building their own prototype app.
“Through these workshops, we want to boost the entrepreneurial potential of women whether their business is at the ideation phase, seed phase, or expansion phase,” says Priya Joshi, co-founder at #MakerKT.
The workshops will take place at various venues across the city, and the participants can pick the workshops that suit them best.
There are eight workshops in total and most of them will last approximately seven hours, over two days. The workshops, now open for registration, are priced Rs 750-Rs 1,000.
This workshop series is only open to those who identify as a ‘keti’—female, and members from LBTIQ community are welcome.
