ACC U-19 Asia Cup: Nepal lose to Bangladesh by 2 wickets

Bangladesh won the toss and invited Nepal to bat first.
In the match reduced to 40-over-a-side due to bad rain, Nepal posted a target of 181 runs losing all the wickets.
In reply, Bangladesh chased down the target at the cost of eight wickets.
Opener Naim Sheikh scored highest 52 runs for Bangladesh while Afif Hossain contributed 33 runs.
Similarly, Nepal’s Bhim Sarki top scored with 44 runs off 40 balls hitting two fours and three sixes.
Likewise, Rohi Kumar made 40 runs and opener Asif Sheikh contributed 30 runs.
Naim Hossain took three wickets and Hasan Mohammad, Kaji Onik and Afif Hossain claimed one wicket each.
Nepal, Malaysia, Bangladesh and India are in pitted in Group ‘A’.
Meanwhile, India defeated Malaysia by 202 runs in the next match.
Nepal head into the game following a morale-boosting victory against Bangladesh in their third of the three-match practice series which the latter had won 2-1.
Nepal were bundled out for just 104 runs in their second practice match against Bangladesh while chasing 228 runs but the team made a solid comeback winning the final game by six wickets chasing a target of 226 runs with 21 balls to spare.
