He said that tight security arrangement has been put in place for the conduction of the historic polls in a free and fair manner.
Addressing a security assembly of Province-5 and 6 organised in Nepalgunj in view of the upcoming elections, PM Deuba ordered the concerned authorities to arrange special security.
He also urged the heads of security agencies to provide security for the polls by strategically utilizing limited resource and means available.
Home Secretary Mohan Krishna Sapkota has made a security plan and it has been sent to all the districts for implementation, PM Deuba, who is also the President of Nepali Congress, said.
“Violent incidents have been taking place ahead of the elections. It is a serious matter,” he said.
Moreover, he directed the security bodies to create conducive environment to hold polls in a free and fearless manner.
