Addressing an election assembly organised jointly by left alliance—CPN-UML, CPN (Maoist Centre) and Rastriya Janamarcha—at Galkot of Baglung on Thursday, Chairman Oli claimed that a majority government under the left alliance would lead the nation on the path of development that would eventually end poverty.
Chairman Oli further accused the Nepali Congress and the democratic alliance of bowing before international powers adding that the nation will head towards economic prosperity as opposed to authoritarianism being preached by the NC-led alliance.
"The NC terrified by fearing losing the elections is alleging that a communist majority government would impose authoritarianism," said Oli, "However, the government under left alliance will present the best form of democracy as per the values of United Nations."
Likewise, Chairman Oli said that the future government (under left alliance) would work for good governance and modernisation of agriculture.
Furthermore, the UML Chairman claimed that Janamorcha Chairman Chitra Bahadur KC will change his policies and favour federalism after the election. Oli also praised KC for supporting him during his tenure as the Prime Minister.
